It’s the news we have all been waiting for, the club house will be allowed to reopen on Saturday 4th July.
As mentioned there are some restrictions on how we must operate, especially the bar and the amount of people we can allow in the club house to meet the current guidelines and keep everybody (including the bar staff) safe.

We have to adhere to the guidelines for track and trace so everyone that comes into the clubhouse must fill out the register book with their name and contact number. At this present time we are limiting attendance to members only, this means no guests, bowlers and social members only.

The kitchen is to remain closed but tea coffee can be ordered from the bar.
The clubhouse will be open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and opening times will be advised shortly.
To meet the guidelines we can only sit 30 people inside the clubhouse with the correct distancing. Chairs, benches and tables will be set out in accordance with the distancing guidelines. All tables and chairs inside or out must not be moved.  A one way system in and out of the clubhouse and to the toilets will be in place.
We will be placing hand sanitisers on tables for your use, we strongly recommend you wash your hands frequently.

The bowling green will remain open every day as before.
To book your rink and time slot please call Elbio Gomez 07802385565.
The playing arrangements are as follows, this applies to all club comps and rollups.

  • We are using only 6 rinks.
  • Social distancing rules apply and must to be kept to at all times.
  • You will need to clean the equipment you have used and place it back in the box on the rink. Please keep to your time slot to avoid any disappointment.

Monday Wednesday Friday from 2pm
Tuesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday from Midday

For the next couple of weeks we will be hoping to start the club competitions with the championship, handicap being drawn this coming Saturday evening- other comps will be drawn next week. We hope to play the pairs on a Saturday along with any of other competitions. (You can play your competitions on any other day if you wish)

As you can appreciate it has not been easy to just re open, we hope you can understand the difficulties in trying to keep everyone safe at the same time as try to socialise.

We are organising a fun day roll up on Saturday. If you want to take part please be at the club for 2.30pm with your bowling shoes.
The club committee will review the present rules and guidance in four weeks and will adjust our arrangements if there are any changes nationally.
Please be patient with everyone as it is all new to us as well as you. Please feel free to wear a face covering whilst you are on the premises if you wish.
The club committee would like to thank everyone that has been down to the club doing much needed work around the premises and for peoples generosity towards the running of North Sheen Bowling Club.   Thank you   Please look out for everyone but Enjoy and stay safe
